I've done a SUP clinic......now what?

The summer of 2020, despite Covid 19, has been a pretty incredible summer. I have been super stoked to help out so many lovely people to get UP and ON the water. So far my youngest paddler was 8 years old and my oldest was 71.  I have been able to teach water safety and paddling to families, solo paddlers, groups of friends, and a corporate team. Some of the best locations we have explored to date have been the Roseau River,  Morden, St. Georges, the Maskwa River, the La Salle River and Lac St-Malo. If you have taken an intro SUP clinic, you may be asking now what?

Here are a few suggestions:

1. Rent a board with a friend (send us an email) and go practice your skills or chill with a beautiful evening paddling on the water.

2. Find a friend with a cottage (we all have those lucky friends) that has a SUP and challenge them to a skills contest.

3. Take the Advanced Flatwater SUP clinic and learn some more paddling strokes and progessions.

4. Go on a tour with us where we paddle a longer distance and guarantee some heritage storytelling (I love history and heritage).

5. Research some different paddle opportunities in Manitoba, buy that SUP you always wanted (try Hardcore Surf & Paddle, among other places) and get on the water.

6. Come cheer me on at the Red River Paddle Challenge on September 26th where we paddle 45 kms from St. Vital Park to Lockport on the Red River. (Seriously - heckling is appreciated....cowbells may even earn you a free Nature's Edge Colouring Book).

7. Dream about being on the water as you colour our exclusive Nature's Edge Colouring Book (by local artist Julie Therrien Blanchette).
